Warranty

INTAV shall guarantee the new products bought from INTAV or from an authorized dealer against defects in material or workmanship for a period of 24 months starting from the shipping date as reported on the certificate. The period of validity of the guarantee shall be automatically extended until the 26 month to recover any storage or fitting-out periods. Should the automatic extension be insufficient to ensure the full period of guarantee for the final Client (24 months at the least) the relevant entrance into effect shall be requested by the proper coupon annexed to the certificate to be delivered to INTAV under the care of the Client Company. During the warranty period, INTAV will repair or replace faulty components in its after sales service centers, with freight and packaging at client's expense. Warranty is valid only if the product is correctly installed and used, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Warranty is not valid for components accidentally damaged, misused or improperly used or which have been modified or altered without authorization. Defects or malfunction of products due to misuse and/or to deterioration due to normal use, are not covered by warranty. INTAV is not liable for any damages direct or indirect, of any kind to persons, animals or things due to incorrect or improper use of the products sold or to incorrect installation. Repair or replacement of faulty components of the products do not interrupt warranty period which remains unchanged at 24 months from the date of purchase by the first ultimate consumer. The Intav warranty is recognized exclusively within the terms specified and laid down in this warranty.

Return procedure

Send a Warranty Claim Form by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by fax to number +39 (0)6-9341934 to request opening a warranty claim file and authorization to return the product, including details on the purchase or the serial number found next to the barcode.

On the consignment note, write the return authorization number provided by Customercare (e.g., 20/2011); pack the material suitably and send it carriage collect through GLS courier to:

Our qualified technical personnel will verify the warranty conditions and the type of problem. If:

  • The product does not work and is covered by warranty: The product will be repaired or replaced and delivered carriage paid through GLS courier;
  • The product works and is covered by warranty: The product will be delivered at your charge. Product inspection and packing will not be charged;
  • The product does not work and is not covered by warranty: You will receive a cost estimate for a replacement. If you authorize the estimate, a replacement product will be delivered to you carriage collect. If you do not authorize the estimate, the original product will be sent back to you carriage collect. Product inspection and packing will be charged € 36.00 (plus VAT);
  • The product works and is not covered by warranty: The product will be sent back to you carriage collect. Product inspection and packing will be charged € 36.00 (plus VAT).
